well after my bad luck, I decided to crack on and sort it out took the old engine out started fitting the new engine and its in! only took me 2 half days to do (don't think that's bad for some one who hasn't done it before ;p) these cars are pretty simple once you start thinking through it...

thanks guys and yeh it will be :) one of my mates owns a garage that specialize in Renaults so he has offered to do it for £220 all in with the dephaser as well as i know they go on these, going to give the car a overhaul as well so i don't get any more surprises :P
