people will say there crap, there ripoffs and no doubt post a pic of a couple smashed ones... look hard enough and youl find that with all wheels. there was a bad batch they sorted that. if they were that bad would allot of drift cars run them with the abuse they get ? i think not
reasonably...
hating the fact i have to put my std suspension back on, but could someone please tell me what order the parts go in just so im sure?
im thinking it was strut- spring- spring plate- bearing- bottom half of top-mount- retaining nut- top half of top-mount then the last bolt?
thanks steve
yep but at the moment moneys a bit tight and Fred still hasent sorted out the bilsteins for the cups yet :(
there just rubbing way to much on the front under hard driving and after seeing the other guy that has H&R's fail i thought id better raise them up, plus iv got my MOT
i think my next set will be covered with protectors. bought these 2nd hand but still very annoying. tried knocking them backwards and forward but there is absolutely no movement there :(
i used 20mm but it does depend on the tyre and et of the wheel your using. i have a ph2 tho so may be different on a ph1. as for difference the car felt allot more 'stable'
i used H&R hubsentric spacers verry good quality and is a simple as taking of the wheel bolting the spacer on like you would a wheel (correct torque) then bolt the wheel to the spacer.
saxo has a throttle cable iirc clio 1.2 16v is fly by wire i think, very slow throttle response. give it a good service and clean the tb. should make it a bit better
iv tried everything i can think off, I have tried using penetrating spray, putting my C-spanner on a bar and heating up the ring with a blowtorch.
i haven't had any luck with any of these :(
is there anything else i can try before i finally give up and buy a new set of coil-overs?
any help...
