Sourced a centre console to go back in the car as it weighs literally naff all without the ash tray etc and makes the car much more presentable inside, so fitted it today... Next job was the battery kill switch, I was unsure were to mount this bit eventually decided to bin the two lights on...

Today's job, modify the TRS tow eye to accept a new m16 bolt to fit to the standard clio towing eye bolt hole. Existing hole in the tow loop was only 10mm so need opening up to 16mm.. New bolt now fits... Then bolted in place... Bumper back on...

I've been on the look out for a second set of 15" alloys to use as spares or even to try run slicks on the track. Came across these today, might not be the best looking wheels but for £50....yes £50 inc good tyres all be it budget crap, I just couldn't refuse them... Give then a run down and...

A couple of more parcels arrived this morning. Passenger foot rest.... And a driver foot well heal plate... Added some grit tape... :up:

Ditto, there's a chance I may end up taxing and mot'ing it yet just so I test drive before a track day etc. I'll be adding some captive riv nuts to the bumper so the plate can be removed easily. I'll post some pics up once done.:up:

Yes, that's the plan. I was going to just cut a section out with the grinder but don't want to affect it structurally too much, so I will just replicate the holes using a hole saw again.

You must have good taste then! Ha. The coil overs were fitted by the previous owner, so they will be staying for now. I'll see how they hold up if it ever does see the track and decide from there, I only bought this as a bit of a project and for fun, not looking to spend silly money or for it...

Front splitter fitted this afternoon.. Can't believe how much a difference these splitters make to the looks of the front of the car... Much better IMO

Thanks, I really like them. These are the standard size version and I am a 34 waist and the fit is nice and snug. I would recommend the XL for anything above this though. You could always buy one of each just in case that way you could always quickly swap over if needed?

The omp frames them selves are not that high, however I have noticed a difference with the new corbeau seats as these have runners and then side mounts which raises the overall seating postion. Nothing dramatic and still lower than the normal OE driving position. You could just mount the...

Continued with the front bumper, first cut away some of the lower grill to allow fitment of a tow strap.... Then number plate removed and holes added for better cooling... Back on the car too see how it looked... Just quick release catches to add then full bumper off to be painted as it...

Also managed to remove the old passenger seat and get both new corbeau seats fitted, really pleased with these!... :up:

Removed the wheels again and adjusted the coilovers again also, the correct way this time, sits much better now IMO....

Started to mod the front panel so the bumper can be quickly and easily removed for track days etc. First part was to secure from the top so drilled out two existing clip holes... Then instated riv nuts... Bumper back on then allen key pro bolt with washer inserted, makes a nice secure...

Bumper back off today so I could remove the fog lights...

Also managed to remove the front bumper, plan is to make it quick release for trailor loading etc, remove the front fogs and treat it to a repaint as it has a few battle scars from the car being so low!... :up:

Managed to get the drivers seat out also.... Then managed to modify the omp subframes to fit the new corbeau seats... Then trail fitted, I really like these!... :up:

Decided to fit the speedlines today, so off went the turinis!... While the wheels were off I decided to raise the front ride height as it was far too low for my liking... Then fitted the new wheels and dropped the car back down, was hoping it sat better at the front, but it sat even lower...

Also explains why the exhaust sat too low under the rear bumper!...

The car had an exhaust rattle on tick over, a quick look underneath and I think I have found out why! 😊 No rubber in the exhaust hanger what so ever! Another job to add to the list! :cry:

So, after a bit of google searches I saw this... I knew the wheels wouldn't stay orange for long, so out came some nice gloss white paint. Good clean up and degrease and all masked up ready for paint!... First few light coats on.... Few more light coats then a finally heavy coat to...

Picked up a nice set of freshly powder coated 15" speedline turbines today, colour is a bit much for me so might not stay orange for long!... Came wrapped in some nice yoko paradas also which was a added bonus!...

A set of nice new corbeau seats with runners and side mounts to replace the tired ones currently fitted!.... Plus a set of brembo grooved high carbon discs with mintex race pads and a set of MLR braided hoses!... And some nice new mintex rear discs, bearings and pads should also help...

Also removed some unwanted graphics from around the car, plus the stock tow eye which was still in place which will eventually be replaced by a ktec tow strap... Before....

Then also managed to remove the standard wheel and fit a nice new momo item!... Before... After.... Much better!
