Ok so thought id start a project thread as things are getting a bit more serious with the car.
Just over a year ago I sold my immaculate Williams for another Clio went looking for a hybrid so I could have some fun with it, taking it apart, modding it and most importantly for me learn about...
engine should take up to 30 psi but guy reckons i shouldnt need to go that high.
old engines going to a mate for his valver and gearbox is stayng with me sorry
thats fair enough obviously i wont know what it makes till its been rolling roaded but with the spec i have a figure that it would hopefully reach tbh even 200 would do its just a case of wait and see. Hopefully a bigger turbo cams headwork standalone management along with alot more stuff will...
this has had a fair bit of work done to it and isnt just a bb tuning turbo jobby. as said it cost around 5k to build.
got some bits i want doing smoothed bonnet and boot, cage and harnesses to go with my new buckets witch aint in the pics. then it should be spot on :D

yeah badges are going smooth boot and bonnet one day lol but after spending aload on this engine it wont be anytime soon.

it is actually a good idea disableing the barrel and sticking a little button in somewhere and not having it big and red lol someone gets hold of your keys there fucked if they think theyre taking the car lol
i had a thought probly a crap one but what about something like the gdi single throttle bodie jobby? a custom inlet manifold and bigger throttle bodie off another car? wouldnt be as good as itbs but its a thought?

tbh id like to know what state these williams where in when the people who say there average (lmfao at average) drove them.
ive driven 3 one was mine it was on 36k full service history and was totally standard another one was a mates on 94k with exhaust and air filter and another was another...
id say my 172 was fater than my tottally standard williams above 60 below that it was the williams being the faster car no doubt about that and both cars were tottaly standard and on less than 40k.
my hybrid on the other hand would kill them both lol
mixed opionions then dads got them on his new clio they seem spot on ebay sell them frim a tenner upwards so im guessing a lower quility item? or they all the same?
