Personally I don't see the need to own both, not yet anyway. I prefer the X1 for the superior controller and the fact that my friends all own X1s. If you're judging the superiority on graphics alone then you're best off buying a gaming PC as tbh both the X1 and PS4 are pap in comparison.

Let's be honest DK, the graphics difference is hardly massive, in fact most wouldn't notice a difference unless both were being played side by side. If graphics mean that much to you I suggest you get yourself a gaming PC as it'll piss on the both consoles from a great height.

Nearly, very good sound (especially out the tiny package) In the end I decided on the B&W M1s but they're slightly bigger and costly. Richer Sounds sell minx's and will happily give a demo.

Ha well a chair is only ever a chair. Makes me laugh though, people will happily drop 1k+ on a set of seats for a car or on a sofa, but will spend a fraction on an office chair which will more than likely be used more.

My advice would be to spend as much as possible. My chair cost £800 (Knoll Life Chair), you can't put a price on posture. Saying that I work from home so use mine 8+ hours a day. It's also 5 years old and still good as new.

For many that cost is worth it! I agree regarding simplicity though, that's why I spunked a fair whack on a top line iMac when a similar spec'd PC would have costs 2/3rds the amount.

But you're not everyone. For some a 1.5k PC makes much more sense than a £400 console Terrence was right, it'll be prettiest on PC.
