Absolutely love it !! Such an improvement to the interior. So pleased with it, and so pleased I got it done !
Managed to sort it really quick which shocked me as on the last one it took forever !
Will get some pics in the day tomorrow.
Ordered some gliptone today for the seats as fed up of them looking shiny. Want them back to matt looking new and smelling new :).
Also thinking of ordering a steering wheel the same as in the compact ! As I loved that wheel and believe the current one spoils the interior.
Wheel I would have...
Oh mind a barn conversion sounds more interesting.
It really is a great car, great all rounder. Couldn't be more happy with it.
Just spray over them lightly and the effect stays on. I was worried about this at first too
Thanks mate.
You not got a thread up ?
Oh fair enough I just prefer the drive with a manual feel more connected with the gear changes. Long as your happy that's all that matters.
Yeah I just taped all around the and sprayed some satin black spray on lightly just enough to cover up the...
Thank you mate. I do try :)
Do the little bits first and then hopefully
Move onto the bigger stuff. Want to maybe change the steering wheel like in my compact. And get some csl wheels.
Thanks mate! Yeah looked for this colour and for a decent spec.
Yeah think you have to compromise with a few things. Important things is service history. Then you have to compromise on spec and mileage.
Yeah had to have one. Didn't like the fact the screen didn't fill the whole space. And no I never in the end, couldn't be bothered to fit it...
Do you know how to get the freeview to work. I can't find any channels ?
Picked up my new Radio and fitted it this weekend. Really please, looks much better than the kenwood, sold that on eBay so that was money towards this.
Does everything sat Nav, bluetooth, freeview, DVD, iPod,USB etc.
Also got some fresh plates and stuck them on with sticky pads not...
So today was the turn of painting the callipers and giving all the wheels a full clean. And the arches and dress them. Wheels were basically bonded on ! Could undo the bolts or when I got one set of the wheel was then stuck. Was terrible !! Had to pop to the local tyre place to use the gun on...
Pretty easy to do tbh. I was amazed at the results didn't expect it to come up so great.
I really loved mine. The perforated leather was great. The main thing I liked was how it was thickened up. Really chunky. Maybe I will get it done in the future. Not too expensive really.
Then I would say this would be a great choice. I cannot compare to a hot hatch as I've never had one. But this is great plenty of power, sounds awesome when you put your foot down (unfortunately the MPG goes faster that the MPH ha) but the noise is addictive. But it's also a great cruiser and so...
Thank you. I'm really pleased with if.
A guy called Jack at Royal Steering Wheels. Very well spoke of on e46Zone. I really did love that wheel was hoping to keep it but the buyer wanted it so let it go. The wheel in this is actually decent after a clean with hot soapy water. Bit gutted really...
Not being worried about spec or colour. I would say you could get one for £3000-£4000 for a good tidy one. Again though depends on mileage,SH and facelift or preface lift ?
There is quite a variation in prices, some are ridiculously over priced. I found it was hard to find a 330 petrol manual, then in this colour and with a decent spec. So when I found this and I managed to get the price down. And when I got there I knew I had to have it and it was a good one...
So phoned up the BMW garage by my house and queried about the gear knob and the cup holders. To my delight they said I could pick them up at 4, I only phoned at 12. Pretty impressive service and not too expensive considering, believe they was more on eBay.
So the gear knob, previous gear knob...
