Its a strange material its like a plastic based foam hard to describe but good stuff! Got it from amari plastics on team valley in Gateshead...only cost me £15 for 7x4 foot
Dead pleased martin just looking forward to getting the cage etc but no hurry as we won't be driving it until next year...at this rate I can see engine modifications aswel :-)
we then ran out of paint so decided enough was enough for one night!

rear section to start martin mate but obviously it comes with the plates to bolt in the fronts!

as for the real reason i can confirm it is for the six cd changer and the cable will more than likely come from out the sill?
Quick update of today...new OMP 300mm wheel and boss kit have arrived and just gave payment to Mr Mark Fish for a cage :) today is a good day.
Anyway with quite a waiting list on the cage im guessing the project will slow down for a while until we get it in then paint the insides and buy some...
Well if it it is road legal without airbags then yes but otherwise no...plan is to drove to a few track days then probably buy a trailer!

few more from the weekend...progress is as far as it can be until we get the cage then fit that and finally paint inside...
This just didnt cut it so we did it old school (by hand) and came up with a bright idea of something abit stronger for the horrible remainder of that sound deadening...
Although the car is nowhere near at the stage of putting the battery back in etc im just wondering as we have removed all airbags and maybe another couple of things how do people get round any lights that will occur once the car is built up? or do people just leave them on?

then wheel off and obviously straight on the net to order a new omp one to replace and boss kit.

Only reason being, me and my two brothers will be driving the cars and we are all different heights.
i just can't understand how it works as ive never done it before?
the car now has 4 holes in the floor so what do i need to buy so i have two seats that go forward and back?
just wondering what subframes to get if i was to buy these? and where exactly would i get them?
probably prefer the drivers to slide if poss

right we have stripped my ph1 down to leave basically the dash and steering wheel inside.
just wondering if theres anything i should avoid touching (cable wise)
what paint has anyone used for painting the inside?
am i safe to remove crash sensors ?
and anything else i should be aware of...
