I have owned 2 ctr's and 2 x 172's the gearbox in the ctr is miles better I hated the engine in the ctr under the vtec it's a total joke No power what's so ever Even had a hondata fitted and still terribke ​I much prefer the 172's as a package

I was talking about the guys at Leeds that map the cars on the rollers for £360 I would not even attempt to load the Rs tuner box on my car as its to much hassle I think I will give a guy in notts ago Just need to see if he will raise the limit etc

I know the rs tuner box is how a lot go on here But I would never manage to down load the thing Has anyone ever tried the likes of celtic tuning/etc I guess a generic re map,, Seems miles easier and cheaper I don't want to pay £360 from rs tuning as the cars are no longer worth a great deal of...

They defo don't fit any side The manafactours must have hundreds returned Either that or they fit a non Clio sport and just thought there all the same

The near side had brake cable snapped on sat Ordered a non genuine part which is to short Ordered from another place gsf still no good In the end had to order from Renault, comes fri How on earth can these places sell them knowing they don't fit The only good bit is the car now free wheels a lot...

Which boss did you guys buy Apparently you need 1 which has the steering angle sensors on the boss Trouble is they only come up with 1 type for 172/182 cheers

Just about to order a new steering wheel and boss Was told I need a boss which allows the steering angle sensor to be re connected Apparently the 172 cup doesn't need it Trouble is when ordering 1 it lists them as all the sAme any ideas how you make sure it's the correct 1 cheers

I went to pod the other week in 30c Way to hot only managed 14.9@93mph stock car I going to get the car mapped with higher rev limit as end up changing into 4th about 50 yds from the line

Cheers My old ctr ran 14.7@96 mph so I guess the 172 is about right ​Plus it wasn't nearly as hot

Ran the Clio 172 at pod today Far to hot at 28c Ran 14.9@93 mph with a 2.33 60 ft time Is that about right for a stock 172 Ordering the Rs tuner box as had to go into 4th about 50 yds from the line at 7200 rpm ​Need more revs
