I remember back in the days when I was running linux and I was the only one, they thought I was weird, a nerd and had to be a rocket scientist to use it !!
Now they just think i'm weird and a nerd lol..
There are only two people in my work that can make changes to active directory.
So if it wasn't me that made the changes I know exactly who to blame ;)
Not bad at all but according to Gamestation Fallout 3 is £19.57 delivered

and the steel box special edition will be £25 as of tommorow. :rasp:
If the polarity, plug size, voltage and the ampage is at least the minimum the speakers require.. then you can use it.
Otherwise buy a new set of speakers.
I just use Ushare on my Home PC, does the job nicely.
(That may infact be the one Ubuntu uses by default but I decided to use bleeding edge SVN IIRC)
*edit* bollox nevermind.. I read it as you using linux.. Not sure how you do it with media player.
Depending on what telly you have some have the option to switch off the HDMI input within the menu's. Last week I was hooking up my PS3 to a Pioneer and couldn't get it to display through HDMI. After doing the reset a few times I was about to give up until I checked the Telly's menu.
Seriously...
