stonking mpg, started to get the improvement from 36mpg when I switched to optimax, helps pay for itself! Hope I see similar improvements in the 182! The Gti's up for sale if you kow of anybody who can't quite manage the cost of the clio!

After 600 miles only, I am averaging already 33, mixture of M25 and cross country on my 182. Runs on optimax. That's already 3mpg than my 1.8 scenic with a/c! Still, a bit of a come down from the 40mpg I get from my 106GTI on the same journey!

Hell fire, when I left Loghborough in '89 I was lucky to have evn had a car held together by string! Last time I went you all had mobile phones and everything. Do security still go round slapping no parking noitices if you haven't got a permit!!
