I've had 2 now the first was an original release too and never got red rings. Sold my other one to dannylee and iirc that is still going strong. Got lucky I guess, played FO3/NV and BF:BC2 on em for 8 hours at a time too.

My service rifle kills bighorns in 1 shot if it's a critical headshot which it always is as they're easy to spot. Easy XP.

tbh i enjoyed having a mountain of quests lined up, allowed me to choose what to do and also travel. Different playing styles i guess. I'm abit OCD though so i always had certain things in certain places and only ever kept what i needed. If you want some money and weapons (plasma/laser)...
