The Mrs' iPhone wouldnt turn on last night after updating the app and re-installing, kept bringing up the apple logo and nothing else. Plugged it into iTunes and left it for 10 mins and was fine after that.

If you're winning in a Lotus on intermediate, then you need to try professional. You should see yourself finishing a more realistic 16th or lower. IMO no point playing a game where you can win with a car that is usually 4 seconds slower than the front runners.

Did Spa in the career last night, had my first SC after the first corner for 3 laps. It started raining under the SC so chose to go on inters. I was way way slower than everyone on the out lap but then the track got really wet and I managed to get up to 9th with 2 laps to go. Really good race.

I think I might restart it then, as ill be losing my career XP points, failing all the time.

Set the difficulty higher? I had it on intermediate and then changed it to professional and I struggle to get out of 18th in the Lotus. Can usually finish 3 or 4 places higher in race though.

Lee posted on twitter that there was a new patch coming out soon.. But didn't mention anything of what it will improve.

I managed to get into 9th in Valencia. Qualified 20th as I got held up constantly and couldnt get a good time. But got up to 10th in the first few corners and just managed to fend off Rosberg after my pitstop.

Just finished Canada 50% race in career. Managed to get 15th in quali and ended the race 14th. The Lotus struggles without KERS. At one point I was 6th in the race but my options fell off the cliff with 10 laps to go and lost loads of places. Had some accidents in race too with Button crashing...

I much prefer Monaco this year to last years game, seems easier to drive, maybe its the handling improvements? I noticed on the Monaco race on 20% that some cars were pitting 2 or 3 times for tyres. Not sure why as it a 1 stop on 20%.

I had a good race in Monaco last night, qualified 18th in the Lotus with AI on professional. Ended the race in 13th, but there were a few accidents which was interesting. Onto Canada next, my favourite :)

How do you manage that? I couldn't get comfortable with that setup lol. I use the triggers but I have the trigger extentions on the PS3.

I have found it far too easy on Amateur and intermediate settings, professional is the best so far but will probably increase when I get a better drive than the Lotus. I finished Spain and ended up in 15th which was good.

On career mode it's where you click on practice before starting it. It'll bring up other things you can change like race length etc.

I'm up to Spain in the career mode, with Lotus and I am struggling to get out of 19th in practice and qualifying. In race I can usually gain 2-3 places. I've just seen my brothers version on X-box and it looks loads better.

After playing this for a good few hours today I'm really enjoying it, as said in previous posts the graphics are a big let down. The cars themselves look good but the track is shocking. It's far more pad friendly too, I can fettle the throttle easier.

I'm using just ABS too, I'm getting 18th in the lotus on professional setting using the PS3 pad.

^ yeah mate, go into race director on the menu when paused and it'll tell you all other teams tyres and lap times. Also I think it was mentioned that you can get mechanical failures and KERS not working for a few laps.

I started the career mode last night, opted to start with Lotus. I have had to change the difficulty setting though as I got pole in Malaysia and finished 6th. Although I did run out of fuel before the end of the Australian GP. I thought my engineer would have warned me to change my fuel mix...

Had my first play on this tonight, only had 45 mins or so. I was surprised at the graphics being so poor on the PS3, the colouring looks worse than 2010. More cartoon like, definitely a bit of a disappointment. Gameplay though is so much improved. You can really attack the curbs and the tyres...
