i was torn between a 55 reg S2000 gt and the vee, drove the S2000 and hated it, felt so slow with it having no torque at all and by the time you get to the v-tec you've ran out of road.

thats what i meant :o having said that i've never once felt the vee has let me down in the corners and it coped well with a matlock blast with a few off here apart from being a bit wide!
such a shame that, i know how it feels to write off your pride and joy!
get on pistonheads though and browse through the clasifides, helps heal the pain! :)
still not a fan of these, hate the 5 spoke wheels, look like halfrauds specials imo
however they may grow on me, the 197 took a few years for me to accept it!
mines a daily car, i dont see why not to be honest... its got no boot and its a pain to park but other than that its fine.
goes over speedbumps without too much fuss, the only bit that catches on mine is the undertray, mines averages about 16mpg really but i didnt buy it to worrie about mpg...

oh yeah and there expensive cars, in the space of 2 months mine had rear discs and pads and a abs pump at the cost of £2000, Cambelt, aux belt, plugs and service came to about £1500 and two rear pilot sports were £420
Followed you from sutton up to stanton hill in a renault kangoo with sutton auto factors stickers on it, was a blue one with a stealth exhaust of some kind!
yep mine needs doing still :) getting the bumper resprayed soon and a splitter if one of you lot will be as kind as to fetch it off ali at fcs pretty please :)
