Re: hey everyone i just bought clio sport
I'm from Harlow mate :) and I believe there's a few of us on here from Harlow and surrounding areas. There's a local meet in the 29th. Check the south east section and if you can make it, get your name down :)
I got the 197 Renault sport badge which tidies it up
What colour is your car? I've put some red rim tape on the edge of my cup spoiler, could do that but a different colour perhaps?
I have some lids that have been skinned in carbon to make 2118 centre caps

And have put red rim tape on the inside of the wheels (nothing special but I haven't seen anybody else do it)
Love ph1s but hate the dash. Ph2 dash on ph1 ftw :)
And I like the black centere/polished lip wheels (can't remember the name)
Need to have a little meet up soon mate, get Tom involved too :)
Good to hear mark. Have heard only good things from you, both on here and from a good friend of mine, Peter Walker, (Dax Cars/DJ Sportscars) and they always recommend you. Local too :)
Might be worth dropping a thread in the club section also mate.
As j said, don't get a 182 cup. Get a 172 cup, or 182 with cup packs. 182 cup will be poverty spec compared to 182 with cup packs and the performance/weight is marginal, if anything at all.

Would be nice. I really like them tbh. A guy at work has one in blue and I've been out in it and it seems better built than the Clio. I love the standard wheels so just some lows and they look great. Heard one recently with a different exhaust (not sure what one) and talk about rasp and pop! :)

Heres how I did mine. Ignore my rear as I have changed my rear harness onto the rear isofix mounts and clamped up the bar on top. Hope that helps :)
I've fitted some wilwood 4pots to my Clio. All lines are tight and all calipers have been bled front and rear. Front os is fine, ns doesn't seem to work. Fluid comes through all nipples when undone, but once tightened up the pistons don't move the pads onto the disc and I have slack pedal feel...
Lol! I'm always around so I'm sure you'll see me one time.
Is yours ly? Ive seen one blipping around recently and this particular one was near bush fair a few weeks ago and gave it some welly off the roundabout, sounded well nice :)
There's a company in my town (Harlow, in Essex) that does a fair bit of customising and spraying and they did them for me. The wheels are done in black/gold with silver nuts and I put red rim tape on the inside of the wheels :)
Where are you based mate? If your local drop these guys a...
I must admit I went out in a clio with gaz's in recently and I was pleasantly surprised on how comfy they were. Yes they are slated on here but I've been in a few cars that have them too and never found a problem. Like you said they have adjustable damping and brand new the price is very good...
Yeah black and silver looks good mate. There was a white clio with orange grids at trax this year whos owner is on here too, Jamie I think his name is.
Edit: thanks cotball
