Funnily enought not that long ago someone scanned www.microsoft.com and it came back as running linux lol..
Turned out one of the companies used to protect MS's servers were running linux on their systems so all connections were bouncing through their network first.. lol.. linux boxes...

Wierd I found the exact opposite.. image was lighter on VGA than component, although I will give you that the colours were slightly better on component.. although in VGA's favour it was a sharper image.

I dont think the outside temp sensor is for anythign other than your info.. the CC wont come on if its too cold but I think that is done by the intake air temp sensor.
Long story short..
It means that you can watch one channel while having another channel in a smaller sized box on the same screen, normally at one of the corners of the TV. On some sets you can split the screen and bring up teletext etc while your still watching live TV.

if the battery goes almost completely dead it will need charging for at least 10+ minutes before it will come back alive.. just leave it charging and check that its back to normal.. give it at least 20 mins charge to be sure.
normally just admin or Administrator with no password.
If you press the reset button on the back (use a paperclick or something) that should reset everything (including user/pass) back to default.
Originally the router was set to channel 6 which im sure the wii has issues with. I set it to channel 11 but still not connecting.
What you might try is disable all encryption and try to get it connected before then once its working reenable the encryption.
Seriously.. go with the impact driver.. I changed my disks a few years back on an old 205 GTI and this thing was welded on.. couple whacks with the impact driver and it was off no probs !

VGA is not interlaced.. therefore you wont be able to select between I or P.
And 480.. 720.. 1080 just referes to the resoulution (or more specifically the vertical number of lines).. which is exaclty what your doing when you switch resolutions...
Nah, you need to get rid of the USB crap and use the network port..
If your are using Telewest/Blueyonder which if its a Surfboard 4100 im pretty sure it will be then you need to
power off the modem for a while (say 30 min)
plug the network lead from the cable modem into the wan port on...
