Would taking the pipes off and replacing them cause an air lock from the lost water?

Cool sounds good it is a 1.2 8v I'm just worried of taking the hose of and when I put it back on there being an air bubble from the water lost

I know where it is just to remove it I disconnect the pipes either side and unbolt has anyone got a good method to bung the piles up with? Or should I just drain the whole coolant system. If so how do I go about that? And how do I bleed the system Cheers

I would take the headlight off the car, use a hair dryer to get rid of the condensation then using silicone sealant run around all the seals on the light to make sure there are no hole and use your finger to run the sealant round and push it into all the holes that may be there. Nick
