Did you ask how she managed to break free of the chains holding her at the sink?
Best bet is to take it to a garage and get a covering letter that there is infact f**k all wrong with the tyres an show it to the Police sgt
That took me 2 mins to find mate.
The best thing to do is find more than 1 to go and look at, setting a benchmark of what your after is a good start.
Put up a wanted thread of a 172, people might be intrested in buying if you have cash waiting...!
Its good that your not bothered about travelling for it (sods law one will appear in either John O'groats or lands end:o)
It all really depends on what your after aswell >

Whats low miles to you>?
My 172 is 8 years old and has just tickled 55k (i regard that as low miles)
To be honest mate, if its been looked after and cherished miles are nothing on the Renault Sports.
What variant are you looking to aquire? How far you willing to travel?
This might help >

I got alot of response from this as i spent a good 3 hours preparing it, it really made it worth while....!
Car reliability is an absolute lottery, you either get a monday morning car or a friday afternoon car.
If you look after it it should last, the interiors generally rattle but i think they all do that, atleast the ones ive been in.
I had a cracked rear coil spring so i decided to replace the two of them for the sake of keeping wear and tear equal...
The springs that went on were a little bigger obviously due to being worn (or atleast so i think anyway)
Could someone whose running standard 15" OZ F1's check for me the...
Never understand why people post threads on here like this, take a ribbing for it, then complain.
Some things are better kept quiet:o
Congrats on your fail though..
I had this problem with my old C2 GT, when the car was in for warranty work they managed to tighten it right on so when i tried to tae them back off the f**king end snapped off the locking nut.
I managed to prove them to blame and it cost them a fortune to get it off apparently, pricks
182 for me, i like the Cooper S but BMW servicing/Labour charges are eye wateringly expensive (not that Renault are cheap) But in this instance it would be the 182.
Ive seen thousands of worse examples out there, doubt highly this was an extra.
The only leather i can think that was offered as an option was one of the Lunar Grey V6's that was for sale but that option was £3995 for the cream leather?
I might have paid a quote like this 2 years ago whilst staying with the rents but now i just wouldnt bother.
This coupled with the fact id want another car to run along side it as i wouldnt want to use it daily, i think it could begin to become a little expensive.
The standard brakes and chassis along with various other components of a GTi weren't designed to withstand 195bhp.
To do it safley your going to need a lot more than £3500
Last night going round the rounda bout at the Glasgow Audi garage at braehead.
Think you were wearing a green top possibly, you were sitting at the traffic lights heading toward Paisley?
Someone please claim this one, you were a hotty lol
As Guppy says the Civic VTI/Jordan would be my first port of call, reliable fast and rev like a friggin jet plane, high miles mean nothing to Hondas with religious service history, the only think is they are insurance group 16's (the Jordan is anyway).
158bhp and 7.6 to 60.
Its an absolute stone waller on your part.
She's managed to damage not one but two cars, you could drive two frigging busses down that road side by side ffs!
Was her lipstick squint per chance?
Suprised she's not getting charged with dangerous driving
