Cheers pal =] i searched but couldnt find info!
I know you dont get the performance/££££ on the CDA but it looks mint and gives some gains...even if minimal... the gf is buying me that for exmas anyway...
Matched inlets sound like a good move though, now i understand them.
Cheers everyone...
Cheers =]
What do matched inlets do? silly question probly but i dont know so am not going to pretend to know lol.
How much would i expect to pay for this service and where can i get it done?
Just brought my 172 and although my ABS seems fine the brakes in general just seem pants.
I think my 1.2 felt more responsive under breaking.
So braided lines, uprated pads and discs are my next move.
I was gonna ask about that pic, i only have a DSLR though and no fancy flashy light things....
Car looks epic mate and your camera skills are first class.
Bloody hell mate,i just sprayed mine in one piece with matchsticks holding them open, much easier...
Hope it all goes well, and yes possibly THE best thing i ever did was CC my door handles on my old rep.
I've just been qouted a little cheaper than these for some grooved discs and bearings if you wanted that look.
I can put you in touch with the company if you want mate?
I wanna get rid of the swirls :( But i am scared to use a machine polisher
It was Snow faomed, washed, clayed, washed again and polished just before i took that pic.
Stealth zorst is a winner, panel filter over a CDA?
Whats matched inlets actually do?? sorry noob question...
And yeah i want...
Cheers guys!
Yeah it is mint! Not a markonit except for ONE stone chip on the bumper!
Got the garage to put me new pilot exalto's and a whole new exhaust on aswell as 6 months warrenty!
Plans are
-a touch lower...
-Set of turini's maybe
-wrap the 172 wheels in some trackday rubber 888's?
-new...
So as you know I got rid of the rep :dapprove:I jeffing loved that car!
Gone to a new home in Northants so keep an eye out!
So i stopped being a f*nny and brought a tidy 172;)
Pretty tidy i thought for a 6 year old car... 45k on the clocks.
C+C welcome :D
Dont forget that it's not just insurance that will go up on a 2.0l
Tax and petrol will take a hammering.
If it's what you want and your sensible the 182 sounds your best bet OR a ph2 172?
Too low tbh you'd need shocks then.
I ran eibach springs -45mm on oem shocks and it was fecking fantastic.
Dont go mega cheap like spax or ebay, but i wouldnt waste your money on FK coilovers either.
Think how much they will cost you to buy, fit and adjust, and what else you could get for...
