the screen, does have a filter, if u look at 1 when its off it has a orange tinge to it, u could take the dash off and take the screen out, then change the filter to a clear one and it has a back light, so u could take the screen apart and change the backlight, will be alot of hassle, easiest...

u can buy car carpet, all you have to do is use spray glue, and stick it to the floor, trimming and molding as you go. that is all a place that specialises in doing car carpets will do.
