Interesting.must admit the clio is a lot of fun. I enjoy what it gives for such an understated car. I don't need to have a fancy dan car at the track. A lot of pleasure can be got taking on far superior cars. Puts a smile on my face. Just not sure if a r26 is calling me.

I have a track only 172 cup which is pretty competitive and great fun..engine is prepped up a bit (seperate ecu, cams, throttle body, matched manifolds, de cat, performance exhaust..etc etc)and usual traçk day mods ( suspension 15 wheels ar1s etc) I am tempted by a r26 Megan' and turning that...

I have a clio 172 cup. Have groved brembo front disks and and DS2500 on the front. They were new on on friday morning. Track was wet and dryed out during morning and was nice for afternoon. Had new nankang ar1 tyres. Pads are 3/4 worn after 1 day. I was giving the car a bit of jipp but surprised...

I would say that I enjoy looking at a wide variety of cars and I have been really impressed with many cars on here and how the owners have lavished care and time on them and done some great looking mods. The v6 looks great but I would only want one as a track car so if anyone has a skanky one...

many thanks, I think the bigger issue is the price, I was thinking one might be 4-6k not somewhere around 30k, not sure I could force myself to spend 30k on a Renault Clio.....sorry guys no offence meant

can you switch to some smaller wheels perhaps?

I only use mine on the track so i cant vouch for performance on the road so best check with others for that

yes road legal i believe but you best check, great grip but not ideal in the wet especially with standing water

they also have their own website so if you are after an even better price call them and see if they can been the price they have on ebay....worth a go to save a few pennies
