Ive just got rid of my basically standard clio 16v and picked up the 14psi clio that Dinger is talking about. And it is a lot faster than my 16v was
All i can say is that 25psi car is a monster and it still has traction. That car will destroy most things
And all i can say is WOW. The looks I get when the wastegate chatter goes off and with the side exit burbling is unreal. Then on the way to Uxbridge to meet a few friends I managed to race a st185 celica GT4, off the line i was ahead very quickly then i got shat on lol
All i can say is if...
james with an alloy intercooler u will be pushing it to get 180bhp it can be done but the stress on your turbo and cooler will be huge.
Trust me matey i know people with some very quick 5s and they are not pushin that kind of power. If u aim for 200 that will make it lightning.

I think the wiring is a bit of a mition matey u need a new loom etc.
Parts wise compared to a 16v parts are cheap. But that depends on where u get it from certain tuners add loads on just because of who they are.
u need £1000 for the conversion
£300 for a donor 5
£950 for the engine rebuild inc parts
£210 for the side exit
£480 for the front mount inc pipes and fitting
£630 for the silicon
Cost of the larger turbo
Thats all rough prices and the spec of mine is slightly higher
