I am having the 'Yes' issue, also the weird characters issue. Also as my headset isn't currently working as I rage smashed it I use Kinect for Party chat. No one can hear what I am saying. Only happened since the 'Update'

A mate picked up a Pair of TB XO Sevens. VERY impressive. Might pick myself up a set next week when I get paid. Will stop the bird moaning about the noise all the time when I am smashing people up in Titanfall.

Depends though... Personally when you are playing a game it is hard to really notice the difference. Only when you stop and stare. For me the XBO fits my needs all round. Hence I bought one. I was not naive enough however to realise what MS and Sony spouted was not going to happen straight...

Not exactly issues coming out the Woodwork though is it. Purely a faulty GPU which happens like with any tech.

I love this sort of stuff but again wonder as has been said the longetivity of it. I have a Wifi controllable Plug socket you can access externally (Belkin Wemo) so I can turn On/Off my espresso machine so it is heated for me when I return home :)

I use HDMI to TV and Optical from TV to Amp. For some reason the Xbox when going from HDMI to HDMI in on the up does not display the picture.

As above. It depends what you want out of a console as well. I have always prefferred the XBOX Interface etc. However I will eventually get a PS4 at some point next year when some exclusive killer titles come out.

I have a Pioneer AV Amp and the XBOX One does not like being put into the AMP via HDMI at all :( Just get a picture of static. Tried a firmware update on the AV receiver and nothing so the XBOX gets put into the TV and then Optical into the amp however no 5.1 through optical which is a pain but...

If you are buying the XBOX sounds like you are buying the wrong one if you want simplicity and complete focus on gaming. MS have said all along it is NOT just about gaming but Entertainment as well, where as PS4 have said we dont care about Media we are about gaming....

Haters gonna hate ;) I think the features are great. Ignoring the TV for now. The SNAP function and easily moving between apps within the XBOX without quiting a game completely is great and I would use this a lot. As for the SKY thing. Not overly bothered but if it works that would be cool...

I like the idea of it. It will have to be something pretty special IMO to beat the Interface from SKY as that is pretty slick and does the job well.
