Hi, haven't long had my Cup, I've changed the rear indicator bulbs to SilverVisions, my question is are the fronts the same fitting? i.e. 2 slightly off-set pins. Thanks
Some of the Pioneer ones look good, the screens always seem all over the place to me tho, I like the screen on my Sony. Hmm.. I'll have to make my mind up soon.
Has anyone had any experience with Blaupunkt units? This one looks awesome...
Some nice ones there guys. :) Who's considered to be the 'big boys' in the head unit market anyway? I've always had Sony really, MP3 player and all that. Never skips while driving. Quite pleased with it. Just looks odd in the car.
I'm looking for a new head unit that looks good in the Cup. I've fitted my Sony MP70 and it don't look too good with the dark grey dash. Just wondered what everybody else has?
Any recommendations for a good head unit for the Cup?
Rix motors, I've heard bad things about them from people on here, but this was after I bought it... I had no problems with them.
Thanks for the comments guys, unfortunately I can't drive her yet, need to wait until I'm 21 in March for cheaper insurance.. It's worth the wait but it's still gonna...
I'll double check it next time it's out of the garage just to be sure, I'm sure it was fine on the road, I would have noticed something like that. If you notice the back looks particularly lower than it should, it all evens up on the flat. :)
I'll be getting some more silvervisions for the...
Toms_cup, I got it from a garage in Warrington. It's got climate control too which is pleasing :) It's a great example, bodywork is immaculate and only 20k on the clock.
Floodie, it's the driveway mate, it's not even at all :) It's fine when it was out on the road at the front earlier. Thanks for noticing tho :)
I've put silvervisions in the back, just don't have a spare set for the fron at the moment. Can I ask, are the front ones same fitment as the back...
I used to own a Ka, stick the pins in, push them both to towards the outside of tha radio i.e. left one push left, and right one push right. then pull out. Should work a treat. A lot of people forget or don't know to push pins outwards before trying to remove it.
Let me know if this does the job.
Elephant is my cheapest quote on a Cup. £2045 when I turn 21 in March. Bell insurance are same as Elephant also. Privilege quoted me £2600
1 claim, 2x SP30, soon to be 21yrs old, driving since 18, 0yrs ncb.
Confused.com did nothing for me, Bell gave me the cheapest quote, I think the cheapest Confused gave me was something like £3500, most companies wouldn't touch me. Norwhich Union told me they don't insure under 25's on the Cup.
I've still yet to insure my Cup, they want £2045 off of me. Guess I'll have to pay it now I've bought the car. Driving it will make up for the big payout tho. :)
Go for the Cup mate, I can't wait to take delivery of mine next week. :) Mine has climate control which was offered as an option on the later 2003 models.. oh and it's Mondial.
