Bought this as it was cheap and I'd recently got the G920... Whats up with the brakes? Hardly have to touch them and you seem to completely lock up. Not as impressed as I thought I'd be.
Was really looking forward to this on release for Xbox (My laptop is crap). But so far I've only seen bad things (frame rate, pop ups, connections etc...), admittedly the reviews seem to be coming from PC players/PC Youtubers...
What is it actually like in terms of playabilty and all that though?
I've got two Careers going, one with Flashbacks on where I redo challenges, go straight into a flying lap etc... and one without where I drive out and warm tyres myself, dont restart qualy or challenges etc... Basically play it as real as possible.
I find with Flashbacks off I concentrate a lot...
I've come back to this now while I wait for PC2 to be sorted properly.
Started a Career in the McLaren-Honda and turned off flashbacks. Had some really good races, even if at times it can be a little infuriating, like in the last race where the VSC came out and I stayed within the delta for the...
I used this guys with a little tweak here and there.
The new patch seems to have sorted some of the tyre issues out, but as I found out yesterday there still seems quite a bit more to sort... Started an hour endurance race one of the GT3's with 32 cars. After lap two the tyres were screaming...
It looks incredible and I think I spent a good few rounds just flying around looking at stuff. You can change the flight controls in the options, but even then it doesn't feel right.
I wish they'd remaster the Squadron Leader/Rogue Squadron series to that level of detail though.
I honestly wouldn't bother continuing with Career until the patch comes out as there's a massive tyre issue, especially with the likes of Formula C (if that's the route you're going)
It's a bit disappointing the game has been released with so many problems, it almost seems like it should have...
Anyone else tried out the Beta? Given it a few games... Looks absolutely stunning, but just feels like more of the same and for some reason I just cannot get a hang of the flight controls either.

In the Career mode where you unlock the British Classic Showdown in the Supercar Invitational... This is bugged right or is it me? You cannot drive the car down the straight without swerving like crazy, yet the AI can do it with ease?
Wish they'd hurry up with the patch. The Photo mode is great...
Bought it during the Preview release, only got the the base game and none of the expansions. Find it quite difficult to get back into, might start again? Found two cannisters which apparently can be sold on the blackmarket, but cant for the life of me find somewhere to sell it. Seems to have...
So what are peoples strategies? Are we off the throttle and and dabbing the breaks or last minute breaking? The longer corners I was coming off the throttle early, but had a few better sectors just breaking it last minute...
Holy thread revival Batman...
So restarted this, normally play as a Mage but but rocking it with heavy armour and sword. Enjoying it much more not having to constantly cast spells and potions and just slaying s**t with my blade.
Anyway, I've just defeated Alduin and a couple of quests have...
This. Had to turn it off half way through as they clearly had no clue what they were going on about... 'There was another booth which had what I think was a rally car with a cage or something...' What?
Hope it has proper leagues and championships.
Picked it up for £15. Enjoyed it initally but it's beginning to get a bit repetive. I'll probably crack on with it at least to finish it and play the Doom 1&2 retro unlockable levels.
I find the level process is the same though... walk around, enemies spawn, defeat easy enemies, big enemy...
F1 2016. Racing games seem to be only genre that doesn't seem to quickly bore on me as of late. This years F1 game has been a massive improvement, with the developers listening to players and delivering a great game. Ploughed massive amount of hours into it.
Maybe if I'd bought a few other...
