A fair bit dude, iv done it check my daily, a lot of cutting off your front end and some major tweaking, not as easy as ph1-ph2 but is do able!
Needed wings/bonnet/bumper/headlights/light under trim(grill) inner archers /grinder/hammer!
No it would be a lot cheaper and easier for me to stay ph2 tbh but I like to be different and I much prefer the ph1 sport front end myself, just personal preference really! Plus it means I now have a ph1 sport rep/ ph2 rb 182 and my 197T lol no two the same
Just realigned the front end to get it perfect! Still not happy!
My advise to anyone wanting to do a 'facedrop' would be don't unless you can happily cut off a bits of your front end haha!
Plus one... Mine did exactly the same this morning! But no hot water was releasing mine :( came home from work after leaving it in gear with ' handy B' off made a clunk as pads released off disc now is fine, needless to say Ill be just leaving it in gear from now on! Well on snow/cold days...
Whoop! Great day today! Some class pics! And good results on rollers and to finish up my cars featured in next months Performance French Car magazine!!
Why have I only just found this thread! I really need to come on here more!, love it! Great work! Hats off to you! I did this to an old 6n polo ... It was great! And that was only at 230/240 bhp! Can't beat a good 20vt!
Yeah the inner wings need slightly modifying slightly , just a little tweak as I'd originally said, just wanting for a ran free day to do it! It just needs the lip trimming off in order for wings to sit lower at front thus completing the front end, also proves a face-drop can be done where many...
Haha ideal!, yeah that's the plan we have all parts to do it and I'm also going to run a 172 rear axle with discs etc as we have a spare few of them too :)!
