Very nice indeed, as the doctor says about with regards to the shocks and dogbone.
Two things cause vibration when fitting, a) all the other engine mounts being worn b) bolting it back up without pulling the engine 'forward' iirc.
But seriously, I fitted one to my ph1 and after a month I'd...
Moved abroad? WTF? Didn't know he lived abroad before! LOL
That's cracking news though, bit jealous mind, can't remember the exact details but I want it!
I've noticed similar attitudes Matt, used to turn up in my ph1 and I'd get told it wasn't available for test drive unless I had a deposit ready, or had no fuel, or was basically the same engine or imilar things. It's like Renault dealers think people are coming for a jolly when they ask to test...
What on earth are you talking about old chap?
To start with, to find the scale option, you shouldn't be 'inside' the viewport, you should just have it selected. Then there should be some standard settings, 1:100. Etc, and to do any custom, you just divide the number.
So to get 1:5 = 1/5 = 0.2...
I'll find out mate, they weren't cheap though.
If you're looking for clio ones, the genuine renault sport ones are where it's at, only £50 too.
That's legally binding.
Devil's in the details Cubbington. New coolant etc, if you forget it you only cause problems down the line!
I don't know if it's just a placebo, but my god does the car feels like it drives better post service! So smooth and in tonight's perfect driving conditions, much fun was had!
@The Russian. just seen the above and you still never remembered to tell me if it was possible :p
Anyway, long overdue update... this weekend the car got a little bit of loving (the new job means it's seriously neglected as I don't have to drive at all).
I'm off to Bruges for a long weekend...
Got to admit, I'm a bit lost too Matthew? The above bit describes the ST? Surely?
Use it dude, enjoy it, you've paid for the miles, kick the crap out of it.
Absolutely yes, you also have a bit of a shitty half arsed attempt at a spare wheel void, it's not much, but my personal preference would be to put a space saver in there, even if it means raising the boot floor by a couple of inches with a lightweight timber frame or similar.
I'm going go...
