I installed the blue ones out of the evo in TheEvilGiraffe's ph1 this weekend, the subframes are really nice in the way they're made, sit on the existing sliders etc.
Having those trimmed up to match the original seats would be ever so nice. I really look forward to seeing it.
Those two little changes have done wonders!
Did you buy the spoiler linked?
Get cracking on those seats, I REALLY want to see the result, as if I buy a ph1, I'm pretty sure I'd do the same.
Rather than faffing about with all these crazy equations.. do the following and then come back with an answer....
Fill the car right up... reset the trip counter, use it for a day or two and then go back the petrol station, check trip counter, fill up.
Divide figure in simple actual maths...
Ermmmm, why?????
I drove that car to within an inch of it's life at times, the power lets you really enjoy it, you can really pull it though the bends/roundabouts using the power
Ok, so here you go. Buy these, yesterday.

Trimmed up, new rails, utterly mint.
They even recline, just don't tilt forward...
I imagine ANY half decent trimmer will match standard ph1 fabrics so easily.
My advice, find a ph1 sport seat anywhere you can, just one, fucked or not, it doesn't matter.
Rip the cover off of the seat and take it down to an upholsterers.
Leave the cover with them and ask they to...
How about finding a battered set of recaro's, even evo ones that are the same shape but are cheaper, and having them trimmed in a matching blue in the style of the recaros you have in the sunflower?
Holy s**t dude. You're nuts. Cracking choice though, I really like that. Ph1 vee, ph2 wheels, perfect.
You did however forget "get better seats" on your list of things to do ;)
Believe it or not I'm not that fussy re-colour. Anything except iceberg would be a safe bet. I'm in the process of buying a house at the moment, and building a drive on the front of that house, but when I do, I can see me picking one up.
I know the seats are an investment, it's just when I'd be...
Believe it or not, I think (for once) it actually looks as good with black strips as it does with CC'd ph2's.
I still want to buy another, my issue is that I'll have to at least - Lower, convert dash, side strips, rear lights, refurb wheels, recaros... it's not a cheap list ffs.
It looks amazing Craig, for me it needs a few things:
Ph2 bootlid (the button is so much nicer)
Keep the ph2 rear lights no matter what.
Ph2 side strips (although the ph1 does work, I still prefer the ph2)
It's something else though mate, it just looks spot on.
He is a member, oneinamillion I believe he is. Used to be pretty active Dr Jekyll used to know him quite well I think.

Yeah it's a fair point, didn't know the porker was going, so it makes more sense now. It wasn't a criticism though, I understand it entirely, it's just in your position it's something I'd look at.
Looks cracking, and a very serious collection.
Although at the point you're now at, I'd rather have one properly epic car I think.
I mean, what's the value of those three out there? 40k? That's a real lot of potential car, that's probably only going to cost the same as those three combined...
Thanks chaps! I still really like it, which is odd considering how long I've had it now!
I can't decide now, totally fucked. I've seen a few silver roadsters with anthracite csl's and it looks just right.
If a good second hand set come up, I'll probably buy them and flog all my other wheels.
