If you go into the battery option in settings it will tell you what's been using the battery for the last 24 hours or 7 days. Might be you have an app on there which is eating the battery.
In other news another five phones arrived at work today. All 64Gb ones, for the slightly-less-senior...
New pair of front tyres, probably new front discs as mine are now ever-so-slightly warped, try to adjust the exhaust so it doesn't scrape on speed humps, sort out the front bumper hangers so they don't rub in hard cornering.
So basically, nothing exciting :(
My mechanic does keep pinging me...
Got it out of the garage and gave it a quick wash. Remembered exactly why I should always wash the car shortly after a track day and not leave it mouldering in the garage for two months. Bloody squished bugs!!
Now off for a drive :)
Five shiny new 6S arrived here today. All of them were the 128Gb versions that the senior managers have decided they must have. Those of us who get the 16Gb versions can only watch and wait for O2 to pull their fingers out of their collective arses......
s**t.
We've got about 30 coming to the company, but the provider will only ship them in batches of five to "manage demand", so no idea when I'll actually get mine. First world problems eh? ;)
Last TD I was at there was a lightly modded 86 there and it looked a hell of a lot of fun. Put some grippier rubber on it and it can carry some very impressive cornering speeds, although obviously you won't have the tail out nearly as much :) Had a chat with the owner and they were absolutely...
None of the cloud providers really offer protection from data loss, you need to move up to more expensive business grade services for that. They're not backed up so any data that is deleted or lost from the cloud service is gone.
A big USB disk kept at work/relatives/friends and brought home...
Yep Office 365 is the way to go, it's actually unlimited cloud storage space now but you have to apply for it. Uploads are (deliberately) slow however so yes it will take a long time to transfer a TB.
Ignore me, that's actually the silver one again, for some reason the side looks black in the photo to my aged eyes. Or I should blamed the iPad screen or something. b****cks........ :D
Still, at least it was drivable!
Theres a pic from the photographers who covered the day of a black 1*2 with a smashed up front end being driven back into the pits, was still under it's own power but that had been boosted/charged too.
So that makes three!
This is how they looked before the most recent track day. They're now definitely not legal but should have another day in them I think. Probably a couple of mm extra wear on the inside of the tyre compared to the outside.
Anyone who wants one I've got one here now, the mate who was going to buy it off me changed his mind. Not looking to make a profit, just want to cover my costs so £320 posted RM special delivery. It's the 64gb model still sealed in the factory plastic.
Drop me a PM if you want it.
WTAF went on there, your idea does seem to make sense McG. Not sure if whoever was driving the silver clio had any track experience, some strange lines, braking in the middle of one of the chicanes, all a bit odd.
Briefing we had last time out was brilliant. He asked if there were any first timers and when a couple of people said yes he just paused for a few seconds, grinned and said "And you chose Combe? Brave."
Got the point across at least. Love that track but it's not somewhere to take liberties...
As said above its not the induction kit unless the way it's been fitted has caused an unmetered air leak which is making the car run lean, but I'm not sure how you'd manage that just by fitting a different air filter. Has anything else been done to the car recently?
First thing to do is get...
GG is "soft" in Toyo terms but seems like everyone else calls it medium. They call SG super-soft or something so basically GG is the harder one and SG is the softer one.
I need a new pair of 888's for the front of the car for next year so I'll be keeping an eye out.
I can see why they keep the 16gb going, people like my wife don't need even 16gb because she doesn't do apps and I don't really need it because all my pics and videos go straight to cloud storage so no need to have them stored on the phone. Also, profit ;)
The force touch stuff will either be...
I got an invite yesterday, although not a shareable one, so ordered the OPT as I think a mate of mine wants one and it was only valid for 24 hours.
It's weird, I bought the OPO but since then I've done nothing in the "community" at all, in fact I sold it after six months or so.
Christ alone...
