What are you talking about?
Spacers are just that, a spacer. If they're there, changing them will make no difference, it's like changing your oil filler cap when you do an oil change to make it better.
If they're not there, the bearing's should have failed by now so I'd assume they are...
Either really hammer another bit in, or grind two flat edges and use a spanner.
If I'd seen this earlier today I could have borrowed a grinder off site for you. Sorry.
Send it in for the work, then turn up with the spare key and just drive off.
Let them chase you for the money rather than the other way around, this way they're on the back foot during the negotiations*
*I do no condone this, but god damn it'd feel good
Looking cracking Mark, proper cracking.
To answer a few questions.
Front bumper: Your external clips are still in place, meaning that this should be easily cure-able, the only downside could be that where it "bolts" through to the wing, the bracket could be damaged (it's unlikely though)...
I'd be angling for 90% TBH. I don't get how when you sit someone down and talk to them, they can't see that 20,000 miles is not an OK amount of miles for a car to require a gearbox rebuild. My clutch didn't give out until 115k FFS.
I'd definitely consider court action if you're the only owner...
It looks about 50 shades darker! I'm a big fan though.
I think I've made up my mind that I'm going to buy a facelift 3.0 when I get rid of mine. I really like the car so it makes sense to go a little faster and newer/less miles.
It could only be made better if it had four BIG exhaust.
I love this sort of car though, y'know the sort where you literally cannot figure out what the owner was thinking.
My point is mate, it'd be cheaper now, I can guarantee it, to make your excues at kiwk fit and get it out of there, then get it down to a specialist.
If you just want a running car and aren't worried about how it runs, then fine, but I get the feeling that you'll care if it comes back knackard.
Right, Corby G I'm going to have to spell it out a little, as you seem to be ignoring everyone.
1) You CAN do a cambelt with no locking tools, a couple of screw drivers and some tipex, the car will probably even run, but it won't be right. This is the point they're making. Kwik Fit AS A...
I know you think you have no other choice, but they won't have started work today. Pay someone to recover the vehicle from KF to a specialist. The amount of problems you'll save yourself is unreal.
I'll have it done then Jimbo.
Any preference on size? About 5" long I thought?
I thought it was good for those with Clio's and without as it doesn't actually say "Cliosport" just CS
