Halfords polisher will do very little in the way of paintwork correction, does not have the power.
You will need a proper machine polisher first up. Most modern day polishes just need to be applied to the pad and used like that no need to add water like messy old fashioned compounds.

Needy bump after a few days grace Rusty ?
I went all day not seeing any painted backbox pics for a whole day yesterday, but no you can't just let them lye ....
You will need a light cutting pad in the spot sizes for sure, the most used one for me.
I always use SRP or Klasse AIO first, never risked it directly over the Menz.
Everytime I go to buy one it is always out of stock!
After filtred water I have little drying to do luckily.
50/50, P21s, Vic Concours are all better than the Dodo IMO.
Oh right you post says
100mm CCS Light cut spot pad
Ultimate 100mm finishing spot pad.
No mention of a Polishing grade one.
They worked no where near as well by PC as they do Rotary. The Sonus SFX pads and the Menzerna Polishing Pads ones work much better for me.
Not a big fan of Purple Haze, find the extra for the Onyx.
Different/Better Shampoo - Duragloss or Megs Shampoo Plus
Easier to apply Sealant and/or Wax - Sealant Jeffs Acyrlic Jett Trigger, Wax Swissvax Onyx
Tyre Dressing - Blackfire Long Lasting Gel
Glass Cleaner - Polish - Autoglym, normal...
Yeap Jeffs in not EGP though. That is the benefit of the AJT, no curing time.
I doubt EGP or Jeffs will bond to the Lime Prime.
You just need to find a spot pad in polishing grade. I would be tempted to buy the full set of Sonus SFX spot pads from some where else.
Need to use Klasse AIO/Prime/SRP before the Jeffs as it won't bond to the oils in the #80.
AJT can be layered on coat after another straight away and you dont have to wait anytime really before adding the Carnuba over it.
Need a spot polishing pad too IMO.
Tim replied to the origional posters thread on the odd clay bar thing.
The question in this thread asking if the Lube can be used for any other brands of clay, I don't see why not.
Mailnly as you may need to use different polishes on the same grade of pads. In case you get dirt on the pad is the other main one.
Get a small brush like the Megs detailing one to remove build up of polish in use.
Mainly Z-2
Z-5 is intended for single stage paint, Z-2 for clearcoated finishes I believe.
EDIT - Though the above seems to have changed looking on there site now thy have Z-5 pro.
I have used it a few times on various cars when working with Brazo, gives a optical perfect finish, looks great but any mark will be highlighted. Leaves a super slick finish like nothing else I have experienced.
Personally it looks a tad plasticy and fake for me so not one I would go for on my...
