Some great advice ! I'll take the 3 hour train tomorrow and see what happens ;) like people have said I should make around what I spend come resale so it's not too big of a risk
I did think about a 172 but insurance would be double plus tax is double plus generally parts are more expensive then a 1.2.
I'm set on this mk3 but the only thing holding me back is the resale aspect, as it is high miles will anyone want to buy it? Sure it will be a lot cheaper then all the...
I have definitely thought about exactly this. But my last few cars have cheap and I was constantly scared something would break etc, now I just want to buy a bit more expensive modernish car I can hopefully rely on as well as it being a clio which is what I want.
It's been serviced every year since new and very well maintained.
As the Milage is quite high iv agreed a great price of £2500 for a 2007 Clio 1.2 tce SX. So for that price I could live with high milage
I'm looking for a new clio and found one I like but I keep getting put off by the high miles.
its a 2007 clio 1.2 with 106k miles which means its a lot cheaper then the other mk3 and In my budget!
How ever it has FSH, well maintained by the same owner with the cambelt done at 72k.
A well...
Awesome thanks, I'm not after massive speed otherwise I would buy a sport. I want a cheap to insure and economic sporty car and the sx looks perfect! Does the turbo do much being only a 1.2? Can you feel/hear it?
Going to go look at a 2007 Clio TCE sx 1.2 soon and just wondered if anyone has driven one and can tell mme what they are like and what to expect.
many thanks!
What are these cars like? I'm intrigued being only a 1.2 turbo and nice little factory body kit I think they look really nice.
all though the price tag is quite steep looking online.
i don't see anyone on the forum with them so just wanted to know what peoples thoughts are
just brought a new clio with the intention of selling it asap to hopefully make a quick couple of pounds.
do you think i got an okay deal here
2002 black 1.2 dynamique clio
80k miles
4 months mot
3 months tax
Service stamps up to 55k
some invoices
body condition not 100% , some scratches and...
Sorry if this is the wrong place
I can't find the picture I'm after and wondered if anyone can help
im after a picture of a lowered white phase 2 clio on 172 alloys.
Non sport pref but sport if you have it.
Many thanks :)
To be fair , if I had a cheap clio and wanted a respray, I would pay £550 any day over the 2k.. Even just outer body and a average job , 2k is a lot oof money, may as well just buy a new car
because of the current climate with 1*2 prices you will be able to get a very nice example for your price range. aim for a Full fat version for all the extras
I went to a 1.2 clio but just sold that for a polo fsi, I did it for cost savings because of uni etc rather then selling it because it was going down in value.
im not really sure why the massive decrease in value so quickly , I guess it's good and bad.. Good because you can buy an awesome hot...
I sold my 182 sharpish as I could see the prices going down and down.pretty glad I did as examples better then mine are now going for less then I sold it for!
Simple fact is iPhone is the best phone by a million miles nothing comes close and I expect nothing will for a long time. I don't look st competitors because I know I will jut be disappointed at what I see compared to apple
