Ronald, take a tape measure, get an idea of where you want the wheel in relation to the arch, have a measure, order. I had 25mm on the front of my ph1 and it made it look awesome!
By premium running costs, I'm comparing to Audi/BMW/Merc etc, not porsche etc.
Now they're running 17 inch wheels, and simple things like a balljoint are not cheap, IMO they're creeping into the same running cost territories. On a 172 a ball joint in 10 minutes and £12 for example. No longer...
I'd agree, if it was a porsche. But it's a 2.0 Clio dude! The 172 manages a comfortable 32+ average, almost always 40+ on long motorway runs.
For me the simple way to define it is that the 200 is a non premium car, with premium car running costs.
Nice choice. I have similar feelings about the newer Clio's. Expensive repairs, high running costs, and the same level of performance/comfort as a 182 Trophy. Where do I sign? (for any alternative).
Re: My PH1 172
Talk to Danny at 519/Fred at BTM regarding cams. You'll become wise, or bored, but either way you'll be better informed ;)
Considered trying to get hold of a bargain second hand ITB setup?
Am I correct in saying you just want to apply flat to the panel, at 90 degree's or as close as possible to that, you just don't want to spray at like 3 degrees across, right?
Tony, I was going to text you to insult you into coming. So just save yourself the bother.
We need the stove for Clarkey's grub. Also, that looks mint C-man.
FYI, the easiest way to keep the convoy together is have the last person have their headlights on and never pull out of a junction unless there at least two cars behind you.
Sorted.
Janice? LOL! I assume you mean tonight.
Sounds like a plan though mate.
Car is clean, been down the local supermarket and picked up a load of ice, a load of 'bow and some rollies. Boot will be filled, I'll have to pop to tesco for BBQ stuffs as I only picked up like two burgers and some buns...
