I'll spend as much time as I can afford not working tomorrow cleaning mine. I need to go buy some new 4£ asda mats though, the last job I did cutting mine out with scissors isn't perfect.
I can imagine the silly prick standing there one day thinking "this car definitely looks better from the drivers side, but I can't figure out why... Must just be the angles"...
Avatar fixed Cubman. Couldn't agree more with the spec comments, from the outside, at a glance, it's impressive. It's when you really look at it and realise the amount of components that are on there, it's properly mental.
It's CSS you bellmet.
And Mark, I'm not just there clicking away, cheeky f**ker.
Cubbington, if you figure out what road it is that decided to paint the lower half of your entire car black, do let me know, I've been looking for cheap respray options ;)
Yeah wet and dry progressively up to 2000, then two stage polished back to life. Whilst that was going on, I removed the front grille, de-greased, pressure washed, scotch padded and added five coats of satin black. Front end looks like it's been replaced TBH.
Also turns out that the coating on...
Coming from a gentleman of your size, it'd be more a bear hug ffs!
Car really does look superb though mate, the difference back to back was mental. The difference in the depth of the colour was great.
Such a rewarding car to work on.
Can't believe I didn't get any of the 'bay, a case of too busy cracking on.
Fantastic colour, car, spec, shame about the owner. You can't have it all though eh? ;)
Bit of kitchen roll soaked in hot water, leak ontop of bird crap. Softens it right up, then just pour a bottle/pint glass of water over and it comes off. Personally I'd just get the pressure washer out, but that works.
