Did oulton park last tuesday with OpenTrack and for its first outing it actually did very well and ran all day till the end. Only little issue was again the fuel pump wont seal and when it has a full tank leaks fuel around the corners. Going to try and tighten it down with the proper tool and...
ok update time! cars been off the road since the last trackday in Feb. for no other reason than to upgrade. the car was perfect on the last outing and I have taken it all apart again!
Main thing were the group buy on roll correction hubs, which have been done and fitted and then the geo redone...
mine are welded shafts and have been fine so far. The person who did them has had much more power through some of his other ones without failure yet.
Brakes on mine were shocking at first too, but i renewed the lot fitted brembos of the megane one way valve etc and they really are spot on now...
mine runs the full 225 ecu ucu clocks etc but isn't a direct fit but certainly possible. To be fair I have never had any issues at all with mine in terms of running it this way. it starts every time and is a much cheaper option which is what was important to me at the time of doing mine. It was...
no lol
to be fair its not too bad just time consuming the only bits I outsourced was the exhaust and driveshafts. the rest we did in our unit on a Tuesday night each week. luckily ste is our resident welder as there was allot of fabrication to do.
the car in February was absolutely brilliant...
yes its mine looking a bit shabby after a bit of unit time! was having the roll centre kit dialled in and the pure motorsport rear beamed zero'd
was a 225 engine/box running 266bhp but about to be more next week if all goes well!
that's the one, literally had allot of messers and people wanting to pay 14 quid for it but zero people have actually taken the time to view the car oddly! its a nice one too but these days people seem to want the world without even seeing it
meg engine is the future but not straight forward at all. mine has actually been going very well for 3 years and only gets used on track reliable 266BHP
undergoing some changes at the min will update soon!
convert a 197/200 or buy one of those much easier to do
ew updates:
Had the car geo looked at @ track torque racing, top bunch and turns out there had been a bit of an underlying issue for a while in that the rear camber was a country mile out instead of the -2.5 we used to run it was pretty much 0! turns out the camber shims had been fitted the...
ah yes I remember, think we pulled behind you on motorway on the way to the track too
had to re learn to drive it with the turbo its not always flat out like when it was NA!
Hi mate, mark will be selling the full lot on the website I believe mine was the mock up car so bare with him or drop him a message. We would probably need your car in order to make them for the wilwoods. In terms of handling I definitely pushed more on this day as aliases to a few months ago...

have used both XP8 and XP10 on both my clio and Evo and cant fault them at all! Ian at carbotech is very helpful
XP8 will do more than enough on a standard power clio
Well she's gone all aero! Mark at BYC was looking for a car to mock some parts up so offered him mine for a few weeks and here are the results! epic work and he's is the man if you are wanting anything! all items will be on his website shortly to purchase!

Did the Renault Sport trackday at oulton last month followed by a trackday the day after on the Saturday to give the car a good test.
Sadly had niggles all weekend. on the Renault sport day after just half a lap the megane gear linkage clip failed giving me little to no gears! managed to find...
