Hi,
I was changing the interior LED's to blue and managed to blow the central locking fuse when doing the hazard dash. Now the car won't start, is it normal for the car not to start until I put another 5 Amp fuse in or has something else blown as well? When I turn the key to start the engine I...
Probably was me, I usually take that way home from work. Thanks buddy, always nice to hear compliments! So what kind of work is your Clio getting done at the moment?
Might have been David, a guy I follow on Instagram, he lives in Bradford so not too far from Leeds. Instagram is davidsmith1245 if you're curious. It certainly is a beautiful car, I saw it in the flesh at FCS expo and it didn't disappoint!
Seemed well looked after from what I could see, all credit to him. Where abouts do you work in town then? I don't think I've seen your car about before
Pretty sure I just had a nice red trophy follow me along Grove Road in Rayleigh, was hard to see from it being so dark but from the glance I took in my mirror as I turned off it looked to be a red trophy. Anyone here?
I don't have any recents on here, need to make a progress thread from now on for something for all the little bits I do now and then. I have quite a few on my Instagram account though, @samv_96 if you're interested!
Thought I was the only one that noticed that! Did make me chuckle
Each to their own I guess, I for one say thumbs up to this guy, I like to see people doing what they want to do and going against the norm once in a while.
Spotted an Inferno 182 at Players today with a graffiti/stickerbomb type design on the bonnet and part of the wings. Pretty interesting idea, nice to see something different!
That's what I'm thinking, the shape and size of the coilover looks identical to the shocks of the non-sport Clio. It's just odd that the coilovers are listed as 172/182 specific. Maybe it's just cause people don't think that you'd waste that kind of money on suspension for a non sport!
Hi, I have a 2002 1.2 Clio which is currently sitting on a coilover kit with the usual spring and adjuster rear setup. I am considering swapping the rears to a full coilover setup to give me that extra bit of adjustability that I want. Now I know that front coilovers for Clio 172/182's wouldn't...
Hi all,
I've seen a couple of threads around this issue but not really enough to get a definitive answer. My mk2 phase 2 1.2 Clio is on coilovers and currently sits quite noticeably lower on the rear drivers side than on the passenger side. I've even gone so far as to take the adjuster out of...
Can someone confirm mine, R339 please? I think it might be 8648 as this is written in marker pen on top of the head unit but I'd just like to double check. Thanks!
Thanks for the reply mate. I know coilovers are generally better but I can't really justify that kind of money at the moment- it's about a 1/3rd of the price paid for the car!
I've seen this set of Gmax shock absorbers for a decent price, does anyone have experience with them? Do you reckon they would be better than standard shocks or worse?
Hi, I'm thinking of buying some 50mm springs from another member on here for my 2002 mk2 1.2 16v. People say that you can have the 50mm drop on standard shocks but it will wear them out quickly. Can anyone recommend a decent set of shocks for a good price that will last longer and save me the...
