I drive how an IAM instructor told me to drive.... Its alot of stop and start driving, if I use the ring road I averaged 20-24mpg at around 40mph in 5th.

Your moaning about 24mpg? Try town driving between 8 and 16mpg... Thats a killer. Although on the motorway when im just taking it like a granny, I often see 45-50mpg.

Wash the wheel down as you normally would, try claying it aswell, then finally use Iron-X but do it in the shade and leave it for 5 minutes. I have a freelander that has never really had its wheels cleaned since 1998, iron-x just killed everything stuck to them and now they are alot brighter...
