^^Oh shush...
Best thing as any detailer would say, prep is key.
Do the two bucket method to avoid any more work, then clay and rinse off.
I personally use R222's carnuba paint enhancer and paste wax, lasts a long time and gives a deep gloss finish, great for the flakes.
You can try Black...
I was one of the first to have them fitted to my car, I know there was a demo model before me but the hangers on his car was different to a car that had not been modified. They had to change the design slightly to fit cars that once had standard systems before.
1) date of purchase - Janurary...
Hi Harpy
If you go an see Alan Perry garage on Huntingdon Street in Nottingham, he used to do my wheels for £150 and it takes 24hrs too. Really good job aswell.
M&R Finishers in Colwick will powder coat wheels, I was quoted £165 for mine, they would take the tyres off and refit+balance. Not...
Where the cup holder is in the centre. Towards the engine is a sloped piece of plastic.
This pulls out, and you will then be able to access all of it from behind there.
There is more than enough room, I have 3 sets of RCA leads (6 plugs), Bluetooth, Stalk Adapter, upper display and normal HU...
In the yellow box's, how come there are 2 pins but they are not in use? What are them pins actually for? Or can they just be removed and used as speaker holes?
I didnt see this before attempting it.
On the plug inside the car, i drilled a hole through the side of the plug for the wire to go through, then found the blank ones on the yellow (door) plug and drilled a hole small enough to get the cable through.
What I could not understand is, on the...
its more useful than you think.
Thanks, I shall attempt that at the weekend if the weather is good.
Its better than cutting the wires or drilling a hole in the door.
14/16awg here it comes.
Cheers
50rms should be ok specially if I will be running 80rms to mine.
Depends on the amp apparently, you need to contact MT Audio on here for advice, hes a top bloke and knows his things with car audio.
New wires would be better for many reasons, there is only 2 guides on here on how to do it.
One is cutting all the wires to drill a hole in the central part and the other is to drill a hole through the tubing pipe brackets.
All look a little complicated to me.
How did you do yours?
This is the amp

I was possibly considering on running new wires from the HU to the connector on the door, rather than cut the wires on the connection i was going to find the speaker connections, pull them out and replace with new wires...
I am looking on running these.

I currently have 16awg cable to do the works.
Would you be able to advise me on how to do this then MTA?
I am trying to install my new comps but dont want to cut and slice up the oem connectors between the door and car.
Black lines are the new ones and red are the old ones that go through to the doors.
So which of the iso connectors at the back of the HU holds all the wires for the speakers? Is...
Not really, buy from car audio direct.
You'll need a all the following if you have no got them installed already.
Remote cable x5m

Power cable x5m

Fuse to go near the battery x1...
If you like your music rather than speed then yes, sound deadening would be a good move but it is pricey and extremely time consuming.
Dont buy into the Dynamat crap, they charge over the top for half the product. Look for silent coat as you can get it in sheets of 2mm to 8mm thick.
You'll...

Would just like to know if anyone has used the guide above?
I would like to know what it looks like between the door and car after using the guide, can you see any of the new speaker...
Basically, what is your price range or what do you have to spend say like £300-£600??
Avoid CarAudioCentre, it does not have the initials of CAC for no reason...
Halfrauds - only if your really desperate or recieve a mega discount with a workers card, still then car audio direct might beat them.
Right for speaker but not going silly daft, get some Focal Access's. Theyre about £70 but work very well off a upgraded headunit.
Headunit wise, I personally would say Pioneer. I have had my fair share of Alpine x305S's and stuff like that. Personally the Pioneer I have does all of what the...
Well I like the idea that the Police use these types of cars.
If people do or dont believe me, I dont care.
I only posted to see if anyone else has seen it, not many members on here from Portland then?
zymol carbon = excellent stuff.
Do all the proper prep work before it, you will litterally need a small amount on your pad to cover around 1/3 tohalf of the bonnet, do it in shade while the bonnets cool and you'll get proper results.
