The K kelvin rating is not how bright but how blue it is. 2400k is less blue than 8000k ones, 12000k is the most blue you can get.

The only thing you might struggle to change is the front discs, otherwise changing the front and rear pads is really easy. You could save yourself a few £££ if you was bothered about it.
