Sorry people, this has taken up too much time. I personally am now too busy with work and things happening within my personal life. This has stopped me from getting to meetings with the organisers of FCS and cliosport.
It would be easy just to get everyone on the track but all the prep, fund...
Anyone up for trying to get a group of us together to go for the day or 2 days, ive never been an none of my mates up here want to go because of the distance, so some one willing to walk with me for the day would be highly appreiciated.
Well im looking at doing two days, dont know if i could do it all in one day.
Anyone looking at going, if you dont mind sharing as im thinking about getting a travel lodge near'ish to the place for the night before a long drive back to sunny Nottingham.
Is anyone going to this, this year?
Im looking at either doing the Thursday and Friday to avoid the hordes of people who'll take the kids or have the Friday to Saturday incase they do some thing extra on the Saturday.
Who has been before? And can you recommend which days are likely to be best?
Re: would never buy a clio again :(
Ive considered selling my clio to get a golf gt tdi, I just cant do it, i know this car has its rattles and bangs but still goes better than most people or friends cars that i know of.
Might end up getting a gttdi as a 2nd car now tho and having the clio as a...
Yea, i have had alot of contact with Brian and also Mark&Co the FCS organisers.
Its bigger than just applying for a record then sending another email with rough details on what would be planned.
You have to tell them what safety cautions you will have in place, what and how many stewards will...
Right people, the long and short of it is I am now pulling out of doing this.
After reading all the paperwork, looking at all the costs and getting everything else in place.
It is alot of work for one person to arrange.
This needs to be done by a team of people that will be able to split the...
Bluepete - Im not saying that he is s**t at what he does, but to call the likes of david bailey s**t is a little naive. Im sure of everyone within the photography world can still learn some thing new but to call those that have been into photography before most of us were nothing more than a...
Considering Linnea Lenkus, Meredith Zinner, Thaddeus Harden and David Bailey are considered the best photographers in the world.
It truly shows how little you know.
Obv this is very true, even though i have a 7d and only had dslrs for about a week. After talking to some one about them, she took a photo with a camera that is around 9 years old and it was better than mine.
But with a little advice and showing me what i should have done, my now shitty pic is...
Get one of them pump sprayers like this.
Get a bigger one though. I have a 25liters one, spray all over in a finer mist, couple of mins then dry off with a MF cloth.
And DemonShine is ok on my BG clio.
With primes like the 50mm f1.8 and also have a 100mm f2.8. You obv lose the feature of zoom and on a crop sensor they are further away, the 100mm is more like 160mm.
But you have a more sharp picture even in low lights.
This is with a 50mm f1.8 under dim lighting and ISO about 1.2k i think...
Megapixels means less than nothingr? dont talk rubbish. A 1 mega pixel picture wont be better than a 10 megapixel picture.
Generally the more the better as long as the picture is of equal size it self. Aperture is what its about, generally the lower it is the more light it will take in. f1.8 is...
Since i have now just got my camera, i have had lots of stuff off that forum. Ive got 50, 100mm primes with 18-135mm lenses aswell as memory cards, bags, monopods and filters for alot cheaper than i could find.
Also, yea i understand how people are saying that you get told to do this and do...
on an off at the moment matey, its now all depending on work as i might have to do alot more traveling soon.
Ive had 3 seperate runs on rolling roads with my car, first was 197bhp, 202bhp then 205bhp.
Its not just about the numbers for me, the car pulls alot better, the sound is amazing, mpg...
Well, what are the arch liners protecting.
Im now missing both my arch linings, thinking about it though the drivers side is the side with all the belts on.
Could some thing possibly get in the engine bay area from a wheel and cause more than a little of problems.
