Na, no effort, just jot down tank mileage and total mileage every time, and that site works out everything else. Total average since I had the car is currently 28,9 MPG. If I was bothered that much about fuel consumption, I would NEVER have bought a 197 lol :)
The sales bloke told me that...
That's my car....
It isn't an R27, they threw in the stickers as an extra!
The problems were all fixed after I went through the credit card company and Renault's HO...EVRY SINGLE ONE apart from the stickers....
But as I keep saying with regards to people saying "You should have checked...
Yes they offered the F1 stickers, I kind of think they look bare without them. And yes, the bumpstrip started to come away after about 2-3 days after I picked it up!
1. They offered them too me, and I accepted
2. It's amazing what turtle wax covers up - paint was the first thing I look at and swirls as my best two mates do detailing
Here is what they call "Respraying a panel":
How did they do it? Dulux roller, tip ex and red dye, and to finish it off, sandpaper???
The rest of the paint on the car is mint though!
The car is now in their hands, I am giving them the opportunity to fix the problems...
Just one picture needed like the ones below. Have searched high and low, but can't find a close enough shot. (to help me to show the dealer how they are SUPPOSED to be done!)
Can anyone help pleeeeeeeeeease :)
Thank you please
And similar of the front one,
Thank you very...
Blinded by love for the car I was!
Bar the stickers, the rest of the cosmetic stuff was "covered up" with wax etc.
I'm not going to mention the dealers name YET, but I did just speak to the previous owners. No front end accidents and no problems at all other than the kangarooing!

You will mate, it is AWFUL, when I had to face reality and the fact I couldn't afford one, I was devastated...
But where there is a will to get one, there is always a way ;)
I contacted Renault UK, and they said to me:
There is no reason for you to have to go into a Renault dealer and check the car head to toe. Part of being a Renault approved dealer is the fact that you should be able to just go in and get the car with the peace of mind that EVERYTHING has been...
Probably a totally irrelavent and useless addition to your post....
It was this that happened to me. I went to a dealer with no intention of buying one, then got sucked in lol!
Interesting responses :) thank you. Yeah bunny hopping is another issue too lol. I just thought it was the wife's driving, but i can see i'm wrong lol. Glad i paid for it with a credit card. Very useful back up they are lol
I've only had it 2 weeks now, and these are the faults with the car already:
Drivers door seal leaks when driving - wind noise can be heard and felt
Windscreen Wiper - chunk missing out of it, leaves a 1 inch stripe of unwiped windscreen
Front Brakes - discs warped, steering wheel...
