Ahh, thanks. Well by the look of it they have replaced the upper part of it but the part that actually fits into the engine is still the original (and this pretty much must be where the problem is). Any idea how much they are? May just buy one and do it myself now! Fuckin renault monkeys.
Yeah they give me a description thing that i will take in. Im gonna see if his bodge repair sorts it and if its fine over the weekend i will take it back monday and explain to renault how they should have fixed it lmao.

Well over the last week it has been in and out of renault three times. It keeps breaking down and then when it restarts seems to be running on two/three cylinders, loadsa unburnt fuel in exhaust. I can leave it for an hour, restart it and then it fine again for a bit.

Ended up being the mass air flow sensor/meter? They said it was "physically broken" Wish they spotted it first time and it would have saved...
i used hammerite smooth with a bursh, just spend along time prepping them. I just cleaned them up and then three layers of hammerite smooth. No problems as of yet and i do drive it hard and get em hot! :p
they did sort the leaking out and put a new carpet in and then apparently dried the car in the kiln thing there...
