Mine had the same problem, does it beep around 3 or 4 times? Theres a code in the hand book that tells you what the beeps mean. I took mine to the garage and they sorted it with no trouble.

I gave mine a good clean inside and out today, absolutely spotless now :D Ive got 17" turinis so know what you mean about what a b**ch they are to clean, i found the best way is to invest in a power washer, a quick blast on each rim, wipe with a sponge and theyre as good as new!! Job done :)

Magnex are quality exhausts, not too loud and look really good. Everyone i know who has one has never had a problem with them.

They have these offers for free insurance like 4 times a year. Im sure as the new reg (04) will be on the way theyll be offering it again soon. Colour...... Id go for black for the 1.2, the bump strips dont look quite as obvious and it looks better, well thats what i think!

Why dont you just take it to your local garage? It invloves cutting and welding, as i had a magnex fitted a few months back. Its a 30mins job for them and itll only cost you around £20. Best to have a good job and not risk buggering your motor up.

I had my 172 when i was 20, insurance was steep but sooooo worth it!

Oh and dont forget NO washer jets for the lights now ;) Hmm, i wonder what sales figures are for the 172 and cup this last year? Cup hands down, therefore not so rare.
