I used to be with Direct Line for my other car. They were brilliant - i made sure they had all my mods listed - which inclded ICE, alloys, bodykit and an engine transplant! Was a shame they wanted 2.5k to insure the standard willy. Not with them anymore lol

Yea, the HT leads, mine developed a misfire, changed the plugs and dizzy cap (cheapest first hehehe) but still didnt cure it. I didnt think they could cause much of a difference but it really was unbelievable!

For those leads - never realised how fooked my car was until I changed them on Saturday - midrange has picked up so much its almost like driving a different car! And no misfire :D Also got round to fitting those goodridge hoses too, hehehe. PS. Thanks for the 7UP :D, youre a (y)

I was there! wasnt in the Williams tho - was in the Astra! I saw the 5, and a couple of nice clios. Missed you tho Rob :( Used to go up every Sunday til there was an accident and the place got shut down - but its lookin like a regular thing again now so Ill probably be there next Sunday too :D

Anyone help on this? I can set off home from work - car is fine, then all of a sudden the revs will stick at 1.5 - 2.5k and just rev as I sit in standing traffic or at the traffic lights. People look at me and give me dirty looks, but i cant do a thing! Ive tried pressing the accelerator...

Yes. lol... Evo said it was well built (compared to the renault) and lacked the annoying rattles! But didnt quite make it as being the better drivers car!
