to kill a clio in a straight line doesnt take much nowadays just a nice 150 TDI type diesel will do it (as they usually have more than 150 stock) however to beat a clio sport in the bends and braking is another thing. you sir have a moderately fast bypass blaster.

you bought a very cheap example. i know its hard m8 but this usually happens there are bargains to be had and some people dont even realise what a 172 is just think its a 2.0 clio not a 172/182hp pocket rocket but sometimes there cheap for a reason. i know someone who just bought a PHS1 172...

not being funny, its not a ferrari or a expensive car at £27k but there were examples still selling for £18-£24k until last year and they are 4 years old ! to get a mint MKII V6 your still would be paying £15k on what is essencially a bad car. I think they have held there value, its just that...
