exellent pics, tyres, interiors, detail ect.. not exactly gonna win any photo awards but it was interesting to see them unlike most shots which concentrate on an off angle and go for perfection.

which is why i ended getting another renault albeit a much slower one, other marques dont offer you the same trade value and if you have a big ballon payment & existing finance this can really limit the amount you end up having for a deposit on a new car.
true, its still same torque as 182 basically and there is only 10lbft diffo between this and the clio 197 which a remap shpuld sort, but as you say its torque is avaliable low down.

outside it sexy m8, id strip the inside rather than sell. but its great if it goes to another CS owners home
do they improve handling much ? i remember having some koni shocks and springs (separate not coils) they were ridiculously firm and made the acr oversteer a lot, tried some eibachs with the konis to soften it up and i wasnt impressed tbh id basically wreked the suspension by that point so i sold...
forgot how badly fitted and plastics the mkII interior was errg..
no offence, i guess my 172 and 172cup were the same and i didnt think they were too great either
still its not the worst ive seen and at least you got climate and leather seats, some bits are nice kinda reminds me of the inside...
should be cheaper all round m8 by far. ktec are interested in developing an exhaust using my car as a test so i may give them a go when i fit my coilies :)
shouldnt be too hard to get 148-150bhp and same torque as 197, as its already 194nm vs 200nm of clio 182. wont be that slow being a bit...
yes m8. bought a new house and with interest rates, loans, fuel, tax, tyres and to top it off a £6.5k ballon i decided id had my fun with the two meg sports, and two cliosports. It was tougher than you know to adjust to the idea, but in my own personal circumstance its the right thing to do...
anymore pics m8 ? im torn between keeping the 16" and getting coils or getting 17" and maybe just some springs i.e full set of new wheels £££ or coils £££ but not both ?
apart from clio 197`s id like to see some clio MKIII pics with 17" wheels, im torn between keeping the 16" stock ones and lowering or getting 17`s.. and probably lowering also.
looks better lowered.. (more lol)
put some evo10 wheels on it aswell to compare.. (quick crap effort)
hope you dont mind me editing your pics, its amazing how much difference lowering and spacing makes to the clio MKIII, as mentioned forget 30mm springs or even 40mm i think on 16"...
