That sounds like a fault on their half if you've tried different points and changing filters! Get on at them! But could also be just more of the your local line being used by kids who got COD for their xmas. Tell me about it!! :D

The game uploads where your current position, etc, is to the host.. Or if you are host, to the other players. As I prove in my montage. ;)
