Something odd about that. Its not the same wheel. Split in front of the face, between the outer lip but the second photo shows its cracked on the inner side with the outer lip still intacked.

Just to add to this, I've got the same problem as the OP said. Checked it today at the garage and the drivers track rod had 2-3mm play, about 1mm on the passenger side. Its booked in to be done just after christmas now.

Sounds like an R-Sport ECU. IIRC they rev to 8k. No cold limiter too.
