Yep, I've got the rs192 decat with mismatch exhaust lol, I'm looking at getting an RS192 though so was good to hear it.
We were all knackered! Drive home wasn't too bad, felt like drifting off towards the end though. I'm yet to properly inspect it but from a first look its not too bad, could...
I honestly don't see why it would. It might be different for dual optics but on some cars with halogen headlights when the full beam is turned on the dipped beam goes off.
Why would it fail the MOT? Dual optics were standard on ph1 172. They don't fail an MOT, plug and play. If you need to just put a fuse in that box? I don't get what the fuss is?
Been up to Birchdown this morning, Got a driveshaft on back order from Renault and a PAS Pump with Aux belt kit.
The cable above is the acoustic valve connection.
My slight knocking could also be some play in the rack, but I'm going to do the driveshaft first and see from there.

They make a huge difference in looks, but I can't help think they are maybe a little bit too 'bling' for my liking.
Also Picked up a ph1/V6 airbox, Sounds much better over standard :D
