Just put the standard headlights back in for MOT, then you know for sure that it wont fail on that fuse.

I honestly don't see why it would. It might be different for dual optics but on some cars with halogen headlights when the full beam is turned on the dipped beam goes off.

So put a fuse in? :S

Why would it fail the MOT? Dual optics were standard on ph1 172. They don't fail an MOT, plug and play. If you need to just put a fuse in that box? I don't get what the fuss is?

FYI Dipped lights don't have to be on with the full beam.

Been up to Birchdown this morning, Got a driveshaft on back order from Renault and a PAS Pump with Aux belt kit. The cable above is the acoustic valve connection. My slight knocking could also be some play in the rack, but I'm going to do the driveshaft first and see from there.
