Mine didn't rattle at all until I resealed it. Now it rattles like a b**ch and there is no stopping it. At least I know its sealed now. I have rattles and squeaks coming from everywhere on the interior. If I took the interior out, it would be close to silent in the cabin im sure of it.

Why not sell your current 1.2, buy a ph1 172 and put the £1500 towards insurance? cant be much more than your current insurance price + £1500. No doubt you can pick up a ph1 172 cheaper than what you sell your 1.2 for.

T1-R-s are pap in the wet/grease! On a dry road they're good, but PE2's are far better all rounder. My T1-R's on the rear have lasted about 15k, and still have 6mm of tread on them.
