It really isn't an issue unless the ground is wet. I tried covering the lens with a snood but that got drenched to. So maybe something on the floor that is dry. You only tend to get it when shooting on wet grass.
So I'm back on the star trails. This Winter I'm taking it a little more seriously. Going to invest in a new Sigma 10-20, one where I can shut the focus off to manuel, a Giga T Pro and some long long trails.
Last nights was shut off early as the ground was so wet I kept getting moisture built up...

I wanted to give you a heads up that as of today I have stepped aside from being Wales area rep and I leave the area in the capable hands of Matt who in his time as rep has organized a few good meets.
I'm unaware if they will be replacing my position but if they do I have no doubt...
On a side note, those dent removal guys were ace. They did my Nimbus a treat as it had a awkward one on the rear quarter. They were still striving for perfection even after it had gone IMO. Thumbs up from me.
