I would suggest acclimatising the lens. Maybe not take it from a hot room to a freezing cold garden?

It really isn't an issue unless the ground is wet. I tried covering the lens with a snood but that got drenched to. So maybe something on the floor that is dry. You only tend to get it when shooting on wet grass.

Sorry I had O2 on the brain. I am currently with 02 and have no 3G what so ever. I meant Vodaphone lol.

Sadly Giffgaff don't have 3G coverage in my area. So I've been looking at O2 and they have some pretty good sim only deals.

When I bought my Ipad they said I had a 14 day return if my signal did not reach satisfactory expectation i.e didnt work. Worth a shot.

So I'm back on the star trails. This Winter I'm taking it a little more seriously. Going to invest in a new Sigma 10-20, one where I can shut the focus off to manuel, a Giga T Pro and some long long trails. Last nights was shut off early as the ground was so wet I kept getting moisture built up...

On a side note, those dent removal guys were ace. They did my Nimbus a treat as it had a awkward one on the rear quarter. They were still striving for perfection even after it had gone IMO. Thumbs up from me.
